Epik High’s Tukutz Speaks Up About The Hate He Received For Choosing BTS Member As A Rival

On the 12th, the MBC variety show Hangout with Yoo featured Epik High‘s Tukutz revealing what happened when he chose BTS‘s V as his rival.

Tukutz explained, “When I appeared on Radio Star in the past, I named BTS’s V as my rival, saying, ‘I think a rival is someone bigger than me, someone I want to get closer to, so this year’s rival will be V.’”

He added, “Anyone can tell it’s a joke,” then revealed, “But an overseas fan sent me a DM,” showing the insults he received. Yoo Jae Suk laughed and said, “They really insulted you creatively,” to which Tukutz added that the message included, “Taehyung is more handsome than you.”

He appealed, “That’s true, but it really feels unpleasant.“
