EXID revealed they share their revenue between all 5 members of the group, despite Solji’s absence from this comeback.
EXID recently came back as a 4-member group with their newest mini-album Eclipse, as Solji is on an indefinite hiatus after being diagnosed with hyperthyroidism.
While most idol groups tend to start individual earnings 3 to 4 years after their debut, the members of EXID decided for themselves that they will continue splitting the revenue equally among their members, despite having been in the industry for 6 years.
Although they aren’t legally required to split the revenue with Solji for this album, the members all mutually agreed that they still wanted Solji to be a recipient of the revenue, and made sure to inform their agency during the final inspection of the album.
The group’s mutual support for each of their members is truly beautiful.
