EXO Chen’s Merchandise Being Sold On Used Item Websites

Fans feel betrayed.

After news of EXO Chen‘s marriage and soon-to-be born child, fans have showed different reactions to the news. While some were happy for him and supported the news, some felt betrayed by him. Fans began posting photos and evidence online revealing hints from the past that showed that Chen had been in a relationship all this time.

While fan accounts and sites began to shut down, EXO Chen merchandise also began appearing on used item sites and through social media. People reportedly quitting being fans of EXO were selling their goods for money online.

Below is a Korean online used item website. You can see that many different types of items are being sold and even being given away for free.

Posts on Twitter have also been selling merchandise.

Some even held retweeting events to give away these items for free.

People who saw these posts wondered who would buy these items and that they wouldn’t take it even if it was free.

EXO-L’s have joined together to try and stop negative and hurtful messages from being seen by starting a new hashtag #엑소는_엑소엘이_지켜 (EXO-L’s Will Protect EXO).

Many negative comments came from mostly Korean fans and foreign fans are working to change this in order to support the group.

After news broke out about Chen, the hashtag #첸_퇴출 (Chen_Out) began trending in South Korea, causing controversy online among EXO fans.
