“Si Fueras Mía” is the Spanish version of another B-side, “It’s Love.” D.O. decided to include this version after hearing the guides to the song, which were in both English and Spanish.

This isn’t the first time D.O. has stunned fans with his Spanish, as EXO covered “Sabor A Mi” back in 2014 for Music Bank in Mexico.

Since the mini album dropped, fans have been raving over not just D.O.’s stunning vocals, but his spot-on Spanish pronunciation!

On Reddit, one post was made dedicated to D.O.’s impressively fluent-sounding Spanish. Many appreciated the hard work that must have gone into singing a fully Spanish song.

As native speaker and from the island of Puerto Rico, D.O, I and I’m sure Latine, Latinx, Latina, and Latino fans ( as well as any Spanish Speaking individuals including 🇭🇹 Haiti) greatly appreciate the hard work as I can tell while listening to the pronunciation of each word that he sang with respect and admiration.

Some even said that his pronunciation of certain words sounds just like their own accents!

The way he pronounced the ‘LL’ in llevaría to me sounded similar to the pronunciation in some parts of Argentina (where I’m from)[…]

In another Reddit post, one user admitted that “his accent slips up on some complicated words,” but said “he still did a phenomenal job” and “hearing him sing in Spanish again with his golden honey voice just killed me.”
