EXO's D.O. Confirmed To Star in Next Installment of "Along With Gods 3"

“Along With the Gods” director Kim Yong Hwa recently revealed that Do Kyung Soo (EXO‘s D.O.)is confirmed to star in the third installment of the movie franchise.

Interviewer: “Will Do Kyungsoo be casted in the 3rd movie?”
Director: “Yes, I met him today. It’s confirmed.”

Kim Yong Hwa also noted that D.O’s character is very important to the franchise story.

“Do Kyung Soo’s character in the “Along With the Gods” franchise is named Private Won, a supporting role but very important to the main plot.”

Along with the Gods: The Two Worlds grossed more than US$105 million and became the second highest-grossing film in South Korea. The sequel, Along With the Gods: The Last 49 Days set records for highest pre-sale tickets in South Korea’s box office history and the opening day record.

The director plans to produce the third and fourth installments to the popular series, together in 2021.

Kim Dong Wook’s character was originally a supporting character but became the lead in the 2nd movie. Thus, fans are speculating that D.O. will be the lead for the 3rd installment.
