EXO’s Live Performance Without Baekhyun Triggers Shocking Reactions

“Doesn’t sit right with me…”

EXO surprised fans with a live performance of a much loved old song during their latest fanmeet on December 14.

However, it is going viral not thanks to the members on stage, but one who is missing.

Due to the legal battle between EXO’s Baekhyun, Xiumin, Chen, and SM Entertainment, only six members were meant to participate in the fanmeet event.

With Lay also announcing his absence due to unforeseen circumstances, only Suho, D.O., Kai, Chanyeol, and Sehun held the much anticipated event.

SM Entertainment Raises Eyebrows By Announcing EXO Member’s Absence On The Day Of Fanmeeting

During the show, the EXO members interacted with fans and performed some of their biggest songs. They also surprised fans with a live performance of their much-loved ballad “Don’t Go” from one of the group’s very first releases XOXO.

A clip of the performance has gone viral on X with over 1.2 million views.

However,  fans have found it lacking without Baekhyun’s vocals. Many consider the song “boring” with the vocalist being absent.

It feels really strange because it’s not the familiar parts or the familiar voices.

As the feud between CBX and SM Entertainment continues, it’s clear the three members absence from group activities, especially Baekhyun’s, is affecting the quality of their performances in fans’ eyes.
