EXO D.O. And Nam Ji Hyun’s “100 Days My Prince” Comes To A Record-Breaking End

The drama easily defeated other competitors, even those aired by public TV stations.

EXO‘s D.O. (aka Do Kyung Soo) and Nam Ji Hyun‘s hugely popular 100 Days My Prince has finally come to an end.

The story focused on a prince who loses his memory and marries Joseon’s oldest bachelorette, who despite not knowing his true identity, falls in love with him deeply.

The drama steadily gained popularity throughout the broadcasting of the show starting from 5% on the first episode and raising to 10% by the 10th episode.

Once they reached 10 percent nationwide ratings, the cast had to fulfill their “10 percent promise” which meant learning how to dance to “Growl” by EXO from D.O.

The final episode recorded an average 14.4% rating, making it the 4th-highest rated drama for the cable channel tVN, dethroning highly acclaimed Signal. This puts it just behind tVN’s other smash hits, Reply 1988, Goblin, and Mr.Sunshine.

The show also easily defeated other competitors, even those aired by public and commercial broadcasting channels. KBS‘s Matrimonial Chaos starring Cha Tae Hyun and Bae Doona garnered 3.1% and SBS‘s Where Stars Land starring Lee Je Hoon and Chae Soo Bin had a rating of 8.6%.

100 Days My Prince is now the highest-rated Monday-Tuesday tVN drama of all time!
