EXO Receives Korean Tourism Star Award
They are considered a “top destination” in Korea.
EXO was recently rewarded the Korean Tourism Star Award by the South Korean Ministry of Culture and Korean Tourism.
They were bestowed the award due to their great contribution to Korean tourism as honorary ambassadors, which they were appointed to in 2018.
Their immense international popularity has made them land alongside actual tourist destinations as a “top destination” considering how numerous foreign fans visit South Korea because of them.
Although they were not able to personally receive the award, they sent a video message expressing their gratitude.
The Korean Tourism Star Award was established in the year 2010 to promote domestic tourism and recognize well-deserving individuals and organizations.
