One of China’s most prominent entertainment/music sites, Tencent Media, recently held its 2019 Tencent Music Entertainment Awards. There, two EXO members were awarded awards. The awards are based on fan votes. Users were able to vote a maximum of 999 times, with the total number of votes being unlimited, meaning it can reach any number.
Lay snagged the “Most Popular Singer” award, bagging the prize with a whopping 18,439,940 votes!
Chanyeol, on the other hand, took home the “Most Popular Overseas Singer,” raking in 1,426,990 votes.
