Fans say goodbye to Mikey of Turbo who returned back to the United States on the 29th (KST). He recently came back to Korea for a week long activity.
Although a week long comeback leaves much regret to many fans and Mikey himself, he promises that he will not be gone forever.
According to Turbo, “Mikey is leaving today. After television broadcasts and fan meetings, he spent some time meeting up with his old friends. Once he goes back to America, he will begin to work in the insurance field. Now is not the time and place to resume in the entertainment industry, however, it is known that Mikey and Kim Jong Kook have discussed about their future plans as well.”
Recently, Kim Jong Kook and Mikey have reappeared as Turbo on SBS Inkigayo‘s 800th episode. Kim Jung Nam joined the two to hold a fan meet at a coffee shop nearby. They had an hour long chat about their lives since Turbo and even discussed their future plans with the fans.
Kim Jong Kook has expressed his gratitude regarding Turbo’s recent activities saying, “I was happy to be with Jung Nam hyung once again through Infinite Challenge – TOTOGA. As hyung received much love, it also reminded me of another member of Turbo, Mikey. I am happy to perform ‘December’ with Mikey for the 800th special episode.”
Meanwhile, Turbo’s old hits, including, “My Childhood Dream,” “Love Is,” “White Love,” “Twister King,” and more made it up to the higher ranks on the music charts.
