These Female Solo Artists Have Left JYP Entertainment

What are you excited to see next from these talented ladies?

JYP Entertainment announced through their official website that artists Baek Ahyeon and Baek Yerin have officially ended their contracts on August 30 and September 14, respectively.

Baek Yerin posted on her social media about her leaving the company. She had been a part of JYP since elementary school, making it a total of 12 years with the company. She showed her appreciation and thanked the company for all their support. She also stated that she will be working on creating an independent label and to keep a look out for new music soon.

Baek Ahyeon left the company just shy of her 7th anniversary. After leaving the agency, she recorded music for the drama, Doctor John soundtrack and also made an appearance on MBC‘s Masked Singer. Baek Ahyeon is known to have signed with JYP back in 2012 after her appearance on the audition program, K-Pop Star Season 1.

Park Jimin also left the company in August, 7 years after working with them. She first debuted as a duo with Baek Yerin called 15& before releasing solo music.

Park Jimin has also released a new song last month that she composed, titled, “Stay Beautiful.”

Many are curious and excited to see the future of these three female solo artists after leaving the company.
