On July 10, the SAY MY NAME account finally answered the mysterious teasers, revealing they were adding a new member to the group called Shuie. They shared photos of the idol along with an announcement that the group was going from seven to eight members.

Photos were also shared on Instagram.

The teasers sparked curiosity but netizens were shocked and confused as they never expected it to mean a new member. Many added that she definitely had visuals, but found it odd that they were adding a member almost nine months after debuting, with mixed reactions.
