Filipino CARATs Criticize Live Nation For “Traumatizing” Experiences At SEVENTEEN’s “Be The Sun” Concert

They were also jealous of the incredible planning of the “Be The Sun” concert in Jakarta.

Live Nation Entertainment is an events company formed following a merger between Live Nation and Ticketmaster. They are responsible for live shows worldwide, including concerts for BLACKPINK, Harry Styles, and Lollapalooza music festivals.

The company has been responsible for multiple K-Pop acts coming to the Philippines in recent years. Currently, they have ITZY, BLACKPINK, and TREASURE lined up to visit the country in 2023.

Filipino K-Pop fans are always excited about the announcements that more groups are coming to visit them. Still, some CARATs took to Twitter to express their deep distrust of Live Nation Entertainment’s preparation and planning skills. SEVENTEEN held their second Be The Sun concert in the Philippines on December 17, 2022, and some Pinoy fans claim they were traumatized by the experience.

OMG guys please make this viral so that it’s seen by someone from PH Arena (Philippine Arena) or LNPH (Live Nation Philippines)

Some Filipino fans were jealous due to the apparent smooth flow and organization of the Be The Sun concert held in Jakarta on December 28, 2022, which another company, MecimaPro, handled.

VIP soundcheck only cost 12.8k in Indonesia and that’s the most expensive ticket but they still managed to make jakarta a mini caratland haha f*ck you lnph where did you use our money you charged more and the venue was bigger but bets bulacan was worse?

Others pleaded with SEVENTEEN’s company, Pledis Entertainment, not to partner with Live Nation Entertainment for future concerts.

I pray that LNPH is blacklisted by Pledis for the next SVT concert in the Philippines. Please hear us out @pledis17_STAFF. Please don’t ever let Live Nation Philippines handle SVT again for their future concerts here in the Philippines. We’re begging y’all

Some TREASURE MAKERs, TREASURE’s official fandom, were also worried when the group announced they were partnering with Live Nation Entertainment for their upcoming concert.

Teumes (TREASURE MAKERs) when they found out Live Nation is the handler

Live Nation Entertainment has had lawsuits filed against them in the past for ticket price fixing and violation of health and safety laws, among other issues. Perhaps the most controversial among these was the crowd-crushing incident at Astroworld Festival, wherein ten people died, and thousands were injured.
