Former ENHYPEN’s Heeseung (EVAN) Receives Renewed Backlash Over Questionable Interview
EVAN (formerly known as ENHYPEN‘s Heeseung) has yet again come under public scrutiny after announcing his departure from the group and re-debut as a soloist.
After the singer suddenly left the group on March 10, fans have been left confused and questioning, wondering if there was more to the decision than what met the eye. Naturally, many conspiracy theories surfaced speculating on the real motivation of the exit.

As fans are revisiting previous moments, desperately looking for clues, a resurfaced interview from ENHYPEN’s debut era has taken many by surprise. In the interview, when all seven members were asked about what their team meant to them, almost all of them said something along the lines of ENHYPEN being like a family to them and expressing their hope to grow together. EVAN’s response, however, stood out, as he replied, “To me, ENHYPEN is the first career for Lee Heeseung.”

The glaring contrast between EVAN’s answer and everyone else’s has left many fans convinced that he always had plans to eventually go solo and wasn’t invested in the team as much as the other members.
