“Bed Selfie” Former K-Pop Idol Reveals One Of Her “Worst” Encounters With A Male Idol

It continued for some time.

While K-Pop is often a private industry, more idols and those not in the industry have shared their past experiences.

Former Blady member Tina, who goes by Soobeanie on YouTube, has been known to share her experiences as a former idol. In a new video, she posted about “Three Of My Worst Kpop Encounters As an Ex-Kpop Idol.”

The first story was about an idol from what she described as either the 1st generation or in the middle of 1st and 2nd, and it was a group that she really liked, but it was not an experience in a work setting.

Tina explained she was out having a drink with another idol friend as they were both promoting and when they spotted the famous singer out with his friend, who was the owner. While they weren’t sure about going to say hi, the owner said he would introduce them later.

Unsurprisingly, she explained how starstruck she was when the meeting actually happened. But Tina explained that her friend had to leave, and the idol started asking about her career. She remembered him asking about her position in the group, to which she replied it was vocals, but she was rapping.

But she was shocked as the idol, known as a dancer, said idols didn’t know how to dance properly, and at first, they thought it was referring to something with training differences. As he continued, they just agreed due to his sunbae status.

Following that, Tina explained he then asked if she and her idol friend, who left, were dating, and she replied they weren’t. Tina then explained that she gave him her number, and it was a bit weird as he kept asking about her way of getting home, and even weirder that he asked her, “Hey, when you get home, send me a photo of you in your bed at your dorm like show show me that you’re actually at your dorm because I don’t
believe you.”

Tina responded more literally with a photo of her bed, and he responded, “Oh wait, you really are home. I thought you were lying.”

She then said the encounter “ruined” it for her because she had a fantasy about experiences with idols she loved, but it came across as weird.

Even a month later, when they met again, he asked if she was free, but Tina made an excuse, saying she had a schedule in the morning.

Years after, she got the same texts, but would always find a way to avoid it.

Many idols have their own inspirations and it would definitely be disappointing to have this kind of encounter with someone you looked up to.
