Former Female SM Trainees Open Social Media Accounts, Triggers Intense Reactions
What are your thoughts?
Recently, an online community post garnered attention as several former female SM Entertainment trainees opened up Instagram accounts.
The first trainee, Kim Ouju, born in 2004, joined the agency in 2022 and was also considered for the group aespa before debuting solo with her song, “So Special.”

The second trainee, Kim Yuni, born in 2002, who also performed solo as a vocalist. Previously, there were speculations on whether she would be part of SM’s new girl group’s final lineup.

The third trainee was Kim Hellen, born in 2003, who was a new SM trainee in 2019.

K-Netizens felt it was such a shame that the girls weren’t able to debut.

- “Are they confirmed to debut?”
- “If they don’t make it to the debut team, they usually make Instagram accounts. I think they made it because they didn’t make it into the new girl group.”
- “They probably made it because they can’t debut.”
- “Looking at their ages, it seems like they can’t debut anymore.”
- “So they made accounts because they can’t debut?”
- “So there really was a trainee named Ouju!”
- “Not just Hearts2Hearts, but there were also two other trainees who didn’t debut either. SM’s style changed after Lee Soo Man left, so they just got rid of them.”
- “The first girl is really pure and pretty.”
- “I’ve only heard about Hellen, but she really exists!”
