A male idol is going viral after comparisons to a past video of BLACKPINK‘s Jennie.

In 2017, Jennie sparked controversy with a video from a rehearsal, where netizens hit back at the idol for being “lazy” and not trying.

Recently, another idol has been going viral after being dubbed the “boys idol” version of Jennie from the video, and it’s P1Harmony‘s Theo.

In a video originally from earlier in the year, a Japanese fan quoted, “The Jennie of the boys idol world.” 

In the comments, while some found it hilarious, others quickly defended Theo, explaining that, like with Jennie, it was only a rehearsal and the idol was probably just conserving energy, as all of P1Harmony are known for being amazing performers. Others hilariously shared that it was more like Girls’ Generation’s Sooyoung, who also had a viral fancam of a rehearsal with the same “mood” and “energy.”
