G-Dragon Accused Of Hiding After Latest “Racist” Scandal
G-Dragon‘s agency, Galaxy Corporation, has issued an apology following the backlash over the idol wearing a shirt printed with an anti-Black racial slur during his Macau concert.

He was seen wearing the shirt this past week, which was called “disgusting” and “racist” by many international netizens online.
G-Dragon Caught Wearing “Disgusting” Shirt With Anti-Black Slur
While the company did apologize, many netizens did not accept it.
We sincerely apologize for the fact that the artist’s performance outfit at the K-SPARK event in Macau on May 2nd included text that was inappropriate given its social and cultural context.
Through this incident, we have once again recognized the importance of more careful cultural sensitivity and responsible review. We will look more closely at and improve our overall internal review and verification processes, including styling, and operate under a more thorough standard going forward.

The problem for many seems to be that the apology came from his company, not G-Dragon himself.

Others even claimed that had he not been caught, the company wouldn’t have done anything, even considering G-Dragon has allegedly had the shirt for more than a decade.
The company is only apologizing because he got caught, but he’s had that shirt for over 10 years and even so he didn’t have the COURAGE to come apologize in person shame https://t.co/u1mR8LJJli pic.twitter.com/SNFg5jHURG

Many seem to feel that the scandal was not the agency’s responsibility but G-Dragon’s personal mistake.
His agency?! And what about his apology since he’s the one wearing that shirt?!
