G-Dragon Comments On False Drug Use Allegations For The First Time
During a recent variety show appearance BIGBANG star G-Dragon shocked viewers when he suddenly mentioned the infamous false drug allegations that surrounded him back in 2023.
On the latest episode of Untitled TV, a YouTube channel run by Jeong Hyeong Don, G-Dragon made a surprise appearance as a thank-you for their past collaboration on his show Good Day. The two stars, known for their comedic chemistry during Infinite Challenge, reunited once again and shared a candid conversation.
The mood was lighthearted, but things changed when a fellow guest said, “As a fan of Infinite Challenge, there’s something I’ve always wondered…” prompting G-Dragon to immediately reference the infamous investigation in 2023.

Host Jeong Hyeong Don followed up with a playful jab, calling G-Dragon a “pro” at investigations. The BIGBANG star quickly responded, firmly emphasizing that he had been proven innocent.
Jeong: He’s been through a ton of investigations. He’s practically a pro!
G-Dragon: A pro? I cleared everything. It was all just a misunderstanding.
G-Dragon was investigated for drug use in October 2023 under Korea’s strict Narcotics Control Act. However, all tests came back negative and he was cleared of all charges by December, with authorities finding no evidence of wrongdoing. The case drew a lot of attention in Korea at the time.
