G-Dragon Reportedly Close To Signing With YG Entertainment Amid Acquittal
G-Dragon, who was previously reported to be signing with Galaxy Corporation, is said to be close to signing with YG Entertainment.
On December 20, Sports Seoul reported that prior reports stating that the idol was signing with Galaxy Corporation were false.
G-Dragon did meet with Galaxy Corporation, but the reports stating that he had agreed to sign with them are false.

Sports Seoul then reported that YG Entertainment is the favorite to sign the idol, citing the fact that the idol has continuously communicated with the label despite his contract ending in June.
G-Dragon is most likely going to sign a new contract with YG Entertainment and continue promoting. His contract with the label ended in March, but he is continuously communicating with them.

YG Entertainment has previously stated that they were in talks with the idol for a new contract and that they would do their best to support G-Dragon’s promotions.

Meanwhile, G-Dragon was recently acquitted from a scandal-laden drug investigation. The idol had tested negative for drugs in three separate occasions.
