(G)I-DLE Officially Cancel First World Tour, Invite Fans To Online Concert Instead

They have officially canceled their first world tour.

(G)I-DLE has announced that they have officially canceled their first world tour, due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On June 5, CUBE Entertainment uploaded their official statement to (G)I-DLE’s Twitter and Instagram, announcing that the group’s first world tour titled 2020 (G)I-DLE World Tour ‘I-LAND: WHO AM I, would now officially be canceled, as opposed to having been initially just postponed earlier this year.


Along with announcing the cancellation of the tour, the agency also confirmed that they would instead be holding an online concert titled 2020 (G)I-DLE Concert ‘I-LAND: Who Am I’ in the month of July.

We regret to announce the cancellation of (G)I-DLE’s first world tour, due to COVID-19. It was a difficult decision to make and we appreciate your understanding as we prioritize the health and safety of the artist and audience.

Instead, we would like to invite you to 2020 (G)I-DLE Online Concert ‘I-LAND: Who Am I’ on Sunday, July 5, 3:00 PM KST.

(G)I-DLE were originally supposed to embark on their first world tour in the month of April, with 32 stops around the world. After initially just postponing the tour to a later unannounced date, they have now officially canceled the tour.


In the month of April, the group made their comeback with their third mini-album titled I Trust, and accompanying title track “Oh My God”. On May 15, 2020, they also released the English version of their debut track “Latata”.
