(G)I-DLE’s Soyeon And Shuhua Step In To Help Yuqi After She’s Overcome With Emotion During Their Fan Meeting
(G)I-DLE has risen to become one of the top fourth-generation groups and has gained a large following for their unique sound and style that they’ve carefully crafted over the years.
Their involvement in creating their music and performances has earned them praise for their creative control and artistic vision and solidified their position as a standout group in the highly competitive K-Pop industry.
The group has worked hard to get to where they are and has been through difficult and joyful times.
The group has inevitably become more like a family over the years, and they showed just how close they are during a heartwarming moment at their recent fan meeting.
(G)I-DLE held their third solo fan meeting, (G)I-DLE OFFICIAL FAN CLUB NEVERLAND 3RD FAN MEETING [DEAR, NEVERLAND], at the SK Olympic Handball Stadium on January 28 and 29.
Their January 29 fan meeting had a VIP guest, and it was Yuqi‘s mom!
The (G)I-DLE member moved from China to Korea to become a trainee at Cube Entertainment in 2016, making it difficult to see her parents often.
Yuqi’s known to be very close to her mom and has become emotional on multiple occasions while talking about how much she misses her.
The final day of the fan meeting was also Yuqi’s mom’s last day in Korea, and the members gave her a special shout-out while on stage.
As Yuqi was getting emotional talking about her mom, leader Soyeon kindly stepped in to give a speech for her. As Soyeon began to assure Yuqi’s mom that the members would always take care of Yuqi, fellow member Shuhua thoughtfully began translating Soyeon’s speech into Chinese.

Of course, members Miyeon and Minnie were also there to offer Yuqi support during the emotional time. The group members helped give Yuqi and her mom a special moment they’ll never forget.
Even if Yuqi has limited precious moments with her mom, (G)I-DLE proved that she’ll always be taken care of with her group by her side.
