Hearing about her family’s long battle with illness, former pro golfer Park Se Ri asked with concern, “Is he in the process of getting better?” Nam Gyuri quietly responded, “No.” This moment revealed the touching story of a daughter who has been silently caring for her father despite no signs of improvement.

Nam Gyuri said, “He’s been sick for so long, that having a sick family member makes it very hard for the whole family. It goes beyond simply wanting to be filial. I just hope I can make him more comfortable than now,” showing her emotion and moving viewers deeply.

She honestly expressed her feelings, saying, “He often ends up in the emergency room unexpectedly. Still, I am so grateful that he has lived this long,” conveying her profound love and gratitude for her father.

Nam Gyuri also shared, “I grew up with great difficulties. I was raised as a welfare recipient. Someday, if I can be in a position to help, I want to do something to support kids who grow up struggling like I did,” revealing her warm ambition to turn her pain into a positive influence in the world.
