Top K-Drama Actor Announces Pregnancy With Former SM Entertainment Trainee Wife

Actor Kim Dong Wook is becoming a father. His wife, Stella Kim, famously known for being a former SM Entertainment trainee who was once close to debuting as a member of Girls’ Generation, is pregnant.

On the afternoon of November 24, 2025, Kim Dong Wook’s agency Studio Yoohoo confirmed the couple’s pregnancy to Star News, stating that the baby is due in early next year. As a result, Kim Dong Wook and Stella Kim will be welcoming their first child about two years after their wedding, which took place in February 2023.

Stella Kim is a Korean-American and a former SM Entertainment trainee. In particular, she was reportedly included in the debut lineup for Girls’ Generation in 2007, but returned to the United States due to her parents’ opposition. She later attended New York University and has since been working as a marketer for a global cosmetics brand as well as a writer. When it was revealed that she was Kim Dong Wook’s wife, it became a major topic of interest.

Kim Dong Wook made his debut in 2004 and is a well-known, highly respected actor who delivered standout performances in numerous works including the drama Coffee Prince No. 1 Shop, The Guest, and the blockbuster Along With the Gods film series.
