Girls’ Generation’s Taeyeon Reveals The Dance Move That She Wants Fans To Look Out For In The “Weekend” Choreography
Girls’ Generation‘s Taeyeon made her long-awaited solo comeback with “Weekend”, with an MV that is full of dreamy visuals such as big, puffy clouds and bright colors, and also comes with a peppy dance routine!
Regarding the song, Taeyeon revealed how she wanted to release a bright, happy song that is great for relaxing, and that “Weekend” was the perfect song for that!
I’m happy to bring out an upbeat song after a long while.
Taeyeon was also announced to be making her return to music shows after 4 years, with her last music show promotion in 2017 with “Fine”!
As this is her first comeback in a while that has an accompanying choreography, Taeyeon shared a particular dance move that she wants people to look out for: one where she makes a crossroad with her dancers as it has significant meaning!
It expresses how one wants to leave for somewhere.
In fact, the theme of leaving everything behind and going on a vacation is present throughout the MV, such as many scenes being filmed in an airplane, and also scenes of Taeyeon being surrounded by clouds!
To watch out for this move, fans will have to wait for her to officially perform the whole choreography for “Weekend”!
Until then, watch the MV for it here!
