Girls’ Generation Ranks 4th Worldwide In Girl Group Concert Sales


Girls’ Generation is the 4th most successful girl group in the world in terms of concert revenue. 

Out of all their world tours, Girls’ Generation has sold quite a lot of tickets, ranking among legends Destiny’s Child and Spice Girls

In fact, out of the top ten highest grossing girl group tours in history, five belong to Girls’ Generation. 

1. TLC – FanMail Tour – $82.9 million

2. Destiny’s Child – Destiny Fulfilled…and Lovin’ it Tour – $70.8 million

3. Spice Girls – The Return of the Spice Girls World Tour – $70 million

4. Girls’ Generation – Love & Peace Japan 3rd Tour – $31.6 million

5. Little Mix – Get Weird Tour – $24.5 million

6. Girls’ Generation – Phantasia Tour – $22.3 million

7. Girls’ Generation – Girls & Peace Japan 2nd Tour – $21.5 million

8. Girls’ Generation – The 1st Japan Arena Tour – $14.98 million

9. Girls’ Generation – “Girls and Peace” World Tour – $14.97 million

10. Pussycat Dolls – Doll Domination Tour – $14.3 million

For example, their Girls and Peace World Tour (2013-14) grossed $14.97 million in revenue with only 10 dates and is the 9th-highest grossing girl group tour.

The biggest stop was at the AsiaWorld Arena in Hong Kong, where they earned over $3.4 million alone.

And in just six dates alone, Girls’ Generation made $14.98 million on their very first Arena Tour in Japan!

Their highest-grossing tour, 3rd Japan Tour Love & Peace (2014), grossed $31.6 million, earning them the fourth highest-grossing girl group tour in history.
