GOT7’s Jinyoung Unexpectedly Announces And Releases His Self-Composed First Solo Song In The Span Of A Day
The members of GOT7 have been working independently while they find the best time to come back together for their first full group comeback after leaving JYP Entertainment earlier this year.
While many of the members have been exploring their sound as solo artists, Jinyoung has been continuing his acting career with a successful turn on the K-Drama,The Devil Judge.
It came as a shock to fans when Jinyoung announced on July 29 that he would be releasing his first solo song titled “Dive”. Within the day, the song was available for streaming.
The song is a sentimental love song that features an alternative rock sound and Jinyoung’s sweet vocals.
The lyrics of the song are sentimental and express longing, using the “Dive” in the title to represent furthering a relationship.
On top of this surprise release, Jinyoung also released a lyric video where he performs the song with a full backing band.
His energy is joyous as he moves about the stage. With a wedding venue design, the video gives off romantic, summertime vibes.
