GOT7’s Youngjae Terminates Contract With Sublime Artist Agency
In 2021, it was announced that all the GOT7 members would not renew their contracts with JYP Entertainment. Youngjae chose to sign with Sublime Artist Agency. Even his fellow member Jackson Wang was announced to be working with Sublime Artist Agency.
Now, after three years, Youngjae and Sublime Artist Agency are parting ways.
On April 2, Sublime Artist Agency shared a statement. The company announced that it and Youngjae decided to terminate his contract after a long discussion.
Hello, we’re Sublime.
We would like to convey our deep gratitude to the fans who have given GOT7’s Youngjae so much love and interest.
We would like to inform you that after a long discussion with GOT7’s Youngjae about his future activities, we mutually agreed to respect each other’s opinions and terminate his exclusive contract.
We would like to sincerely thank Youngjae, who has been together with us up until now as an artist under our agency. All members of Sublime will cherish the time we spent together with Youngjae for a long time, and we look forward to supporting and cheering on his future activities in various fields.
We ask for your continued interest and encouragement to Youngjae, who is about to start anew.
