The GRAMMYs Reveals The Announcement Date For 2021’s Nominees, And More

K-Pop’s biggest stars could be among the nominees.

Next month, the Recording Academy will be announcing the nominees for the 63rd GRAMMY Awards.

Nominees for the show’s 84 categories will be revealed in an hour-long livestream on November 24. According to GRAMMY.com, this virtual party will feature “past GRAMMY winners, nominees and hopefuls from remote locations across the country.” Some of the biggest groups in K-Pop could potentially be nominated.

BLACKPINK has been submitted to be nominated for “Best New Artist”, plus “Record of the Year”, “Song of the Year” and “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance” for their collaboration with Selena Gomez, “Ice Cream”.

BTS‘s album MAP OF THE SOUL : 7 has been submitted for nominations for “Album of the Year”, “Best Pop Vocal Album”, and “Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical”. They have submitted their song “Dynamite” for “Record Of The Year”, “Pop Duo/Group Performance”, “Best Music Video”, and “Song Of The Year”.

SuperM has also been submitted for a nomination for the “Best New Artist” category. Their song “Jopping” has been submitted for nominations for “Best Music Video”, “Pop Duo/Group Performance”, “Record of the Year”, and “Song of the Year”. For The 1st Mini Album, SuperM has been submitted for “Album of the Year,” “Best Pop Vocal Album”, and “Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical”.

MONSTA X has been submitted for nominations for their song, “Someone’s Someone”, and album, All About Luv. “Someone’s Someone” has been submitted for the categories of “Best Music Video”, “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance”, “Record of the Year”, and “Song of the Year”. Their 6th studio album, All About Luv, was submitted for “Best Pop Vocal Album” and “Album of the Year”.

Their LOVE U album with French Montana has also been submitted for “Producer of the Year, Non-Classical”.
