Grammy Award-Winning Singer Rosalía Unknowingly Reps BTS With “BT21” Merch

Rosalía uploaded photos of herself wearing Tata socks.

Grammy award-winning Spanish singer Rosalía recently uploaded photos of herself wearing BT21 merch, but whether she actually knows BTS remains to be seen.

On February 2, Rosalía updated her social media with a new photoset.

To most of her fans, there was nothing unexpected about the fashion-forward snaps. But eagle-eyed ARMYs quickly spotted a key clothing piece in the last photo: BT21 Tata socks.

At first, fans were excited to think that Rosalía might know BTS, even hoping for a collab between the esteemed artists.

Unfortunately, that doesn’t seem to be the case. In a video she uploaded to her Instagram story, Rosalía referred to the Tata and Mang socks as “otaku” gifts from Japan.

Of course, fans were quick to comment on her Twitter post letting her know more about BT21 and BTS.

So, it’s possible Rosalía’s unknowing ARMY representation could’ve been the first step to her learning more about the group—and maybe an eventual collab.

Of course, Rosalía isn’t the first non-Korean celeb to be spotted wearing BT21 merch. Actress Aubrey Miller and TV host Jimmy Fallon are just a few fans of the cute characters.

And, of course, many K-Pop idols have repped the line too—including BIGBANG’s T.O.P and ATEEZ’s Wooyoung.
