Top Actors Arrogant Attitude At Film Event Spark Massive Backlash
Recently, actors Ha Jung Woo and Gong Hyo Jin attended an open talk event in Busan for their upcoming film, The People Upstairs.

However, the actors were about 15 minutes late, and despite the large audience waiting, they offered no proper apology.
The film’s open talk event was scheduled to begin on September 19 at 11 AM KST and be broadcast live. However, the host came on stage and explained that the actors would arrive late due to heavy traffic. Ha Jung Woo and Gong Hyo Jin arrived on stage at 11:14, 14 minutes later than the original start time.

What was more disappointing was that they began the open talk without a single word of apology, despite the audience who had waited for them.
The two actors also came on stage wearing sunglasses despite the cloudy weather. This disappointed the audience, who had anticipated seeing the actors’ faces.
K-Netizens were furious at their attitude and couldn’t believe they didn’t apologize.

- “Apologize if you’re late.”
- “You can be late because of traffic, but what about the audience who arrived early and waited? They should apologize. What are they doing and not apologizing?”
- “They didn’t even apologize? This is really surprising.”
- “At least apologize…”
- “If it was scheduled for 11 AM, it isn’t even that early, but they were late and didn’t get makeup done? Ordinary people get up at dawn and work even if they drank the night before.”
- “Easy money makes people arrogant.”
- “Seems like actor Kim Dong Wook wasn’t late to the event.”
- “What’s with the sunglasses?”
- “Is it that hard to apologize?”
