What Does Actor Ha Jung Woo Think About His 6-Year-Old Half-Brother From His 80-Year-Old Father?
Veteran actor Kim Yong Gun opened up about how he felt after becoming a father at 75.
In the April 6, 2026 (KST) episode of tvN STORY’s Table Tales, show host Lee Young Ja mentioned a previously aired clip showing Kim Yong Gun playing with his 30-month-old grandson.

In response, Kim Yong Gun remarked, “I actually have another child to play with,” referring to his youngest son. Kim Yong Gun admitted that it wasn’t easy becoming a dad again after successfully raising his two actor sons, Ha Jung Woo and Cha Hyun Woo.

Now I’m the one running after him. It’s hard to keep up and play together… I had a child so late in life, and at first, it was very difficult.

He then revealed, “My eldest and second sons told me, ‘Father, think of it as a blessing.’ That gave me strength. After all, what did the child do wrong?” expressing how their support helped him accept the situation.

Now, he says he spends as much time as possible with his youngest son.
I want to see him as much as I can, even if it’s just one more day. So now I even go to kids’ cafés. Before, I worried about people whispering or giving me negative looks.
But now I just wish I could spend more time with him. That’s how I feel. I think I don’t have much time left. Whenever I can, I video call him, or I wait for him after daycare. That makes me happy.
