Heartbreaking Footage Of BLACKPINK Jennie’s Latest Live Performance Goes Viral
Just days after BLACKPINK’s Jennie faced backlash for her performance at the 2025 Melon Music Awards, newly surfaced footage is changing people’s minds entirely.

Jennie was one of the most highly anticipated stars in the lineup for last week’s awards ceremony, treating fans to renditions of “Seoul City,” “Like JENNIE,” and “Zen.”

While her set was praised among Korean fans, international netizens piled heavy criticism on Jennie. In particular, many questioned her stamina after noticing she appeared out of breath early into her performance.

Now, however, footage from the end of the performance is painting a different picture. In the clip, which has since gone viral on X, two of Jennie’s male backup dancers can be seen visibly struggling with exhaustion. Both were gasping for air, while one appeared to have difficulty standing upright.

Given that Jennie was both singing and dancing throughout the performance with no breaks, many fans say that the professional dancers’ own breathlessness puts Jennie’s difficulties into perspective.

Fans have also noted that certain sections featured only female dancers, meaning the male dancers in the footage had brief rest periods while Jennie powered through without stopping.

Jennie also appeared to have difficulty breathing offstage too, prompting many fans to share concerns about the star’s possible “anxiety.”
