Yet, while the more known K-Pop idols get to showcase their talent, it’s not always as easy for “Nugu” groups or those less known.
In particular, the harsh reality of music shows for rookie groups caught the attention of fans as the girl group Lapillus has been promoting their new track, “Marionette.”
Unsurprisingly, Lapillus has been absolutely shining during their performances, and the same was seen during their appearance on Show! Music Core. The members all shined in their performance and made sure that they put on the best show for fans watching in the studio and online.
Considering the group only debuted in 2022, the members have already earned a huge fanbase globally. While debuting under MLD Entertainment, Lapillus had to work hard to get known as the company isn’t well known and has a rocky history with fans after their treatment of MOMOLAND.
It meant that fans were sad after seeing a video of the group’s recent performance. In a wide shot, it shows the members performing, but people in the crowd seemed disinterested and along with looking away and around the studio.
In particular, they moved their body angles and went on their tiptoes to look at someone other than Lapillus while the members were all performing.
Some fans could then be seen shouting for whoever they had seen or trying to get someone else’s attention while the members were performing.
When the video was shared on TikTok, it quickly gained attention as netizens shared their anger at the disrespect the members faced while putting their hearts into performing.

Although those attending music shows aren’t expected to like or support a certain group if they don’t want to, many thought they should at least be respectful during the performances.
In particular, they praised the NMIXX fan who showed their support throughout the performance and even used their lightstick for multiple performances from the rookie groups, including KISS OF LIFE who also had the same treatment.
