Here’s Every Artist BigHit Has Produced Before TXT

TXT is the next in a history that’s longer than you think.

BigHit has unveiled the first member, Yeonjun, of their new boy group TXT or Tomorrow X Together.

Did you know that BigHit produced some artists even before BTS?

8Eight

BigHit’s first foray into the music world came in the form of 8Eight who debuted in 2007. They were a co-ed vocal trio consisting of Baek Chan, Lee Hyun and Joo Hee.

Here is one of their songs, “Without a Heart”

They quietly disbanded after Baek Chan and Joo Hee’s contracts with BigHit expired.

Lee Hyun has continued with BigHit as a soloist.

2AM (Joint management with JYP)

2AM was one of the groups that arose from the boy band “One Day” being split up, the other of course being 2PM.

BigHit co-managed 2AM along with JYP Entertainment. The group consisted of Jo Kwon, Lee Changmin, Lim Seulong and Jeong Jinwoon.

Here is a song they did with RM who was a BigHit trainee at the time.

Seulong, Jinwoon and Jo Kwon switch their contracts solely to JYP once they expired with BigHit. Changmin stayed on with BigHit for longer.

GLAM (Joint management with Source Music)

GLAM was a girl group co-managed by BigHit and Source Music that debuted in 2012.

The group consisted of Zinni, Trinity, Jiyeon, Dahee and Miso.

Here is one of their songs, “I Like That”.

Trinity left the group for personal reasons in 2014.

The group would disband completely after one of their members, Dahee, was found to be blackmailing actor Lee Byung-hun for 5 million won in 2015. She went to prison.

Lim Jeong Hee

Lim Jeong Hee (J-Lim) is a female vocalist who was famous for her street performances before she signed for JYP Entertainment.

In 2012, she switched agencies to BigHit Entertainment to be a soloist for the agency.

Here is the song, “Ashes”, that she performed with BTS’s RM and Iron who was a member of the original lineup.

J-Lim left BigHit in 2015 but she continues to produce music.

Homme

Homme is a vocal duo consisting of Lee Hyun (of 8Eight) and Lee Changmin (of 2AM). They debuted as a duo in 2010 with “I Was Able To Eat Well”.

Here is one of their songs, “Dilemma”.

BigHit recently announced that Lee Changmin will be leaving the agency on February 1st which most likely spells the end of Homme.

BTS

Obviously, we have BigHit’s biggest success in BTS.

The finalized lineup of RM, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jin and Jungkook fully debuted in 2013 with “No More Dream” and the rest is history.

For the sake of consistency, here is one of their songs “DNA”.

BTS is going strong to this day and is the primary reason why BigHit has seen incredible growth in the past few years.

TXT

TXT is BigHit’s latest project and the boy group which has only revealed one member, Yeonjun, is already getting incredible traction.
