They once made a promise to fans that if their 8th studio album, PLAY, sold over 200,000 copies, the group would sell black suits on the CJ home shopping channel.

Fans made it come true by purchasing a whopping 200,000 copies of albums in less than a month.

“I can’t believe it really happened. We became the first idol group to be featured on a home shopping program.”

On November 20, the members showed up at the studio in long black padded coats perfect for the winter season.

“While black suits are nice, it’s hard to wear them out in the cold winter. There are back and white long down jackets in various colors. I hope you spend this winter warmly.”

Everyone who ordered the coat also received a copy of Super Junior’s PLAY.

Thanks to their hard work, the shopping channel received over 4800 calls and sold out the entire collection in less than an hour, even before the broadcasting ended!

The 6 members also performed their latest single, “Black Suit”, on the show to celebrate the sell-out event.

Only time will tell whether they opened some opportunities for other idols to appear on the home shopping channel in the future.
