While they didn’t make the final lineup, some of the trainees on the show ended up debuting with the group &TEAM, which are EJ, K, Nicholas, and Taki.

Recently, the group made a special appearance for M2.

During the video, their heart rate was monitored through a series of challenges.

At one point, K was asked about his most embarrassing moment, and the idol looked back at his I-LAND days. He revealed that during the show, the contestants weren’t allowed to talk to each other and get close, forbidding friendships.

K added that he was already friends with EJ, Nicholas, and Taki at the time.

EJ joked that nobody was meant to know, and the secret was meant to be taken to the grave.

K then explained that the staff found out he was close with Taki and that he had almost been sent back to Japan, implying that they would remove him from the show.

The clip went viral online.

Netizens shared their fury at the way the show treated the trainees, especially as they were so young.
