The change was linked to Min Hee Jin.

HYBE‘s iconic “we believe in music” slogan may be gone for good.

Photos taken outside of the “Big 4” company building showed the logo being swapped out, replacing the old design that included the beloved slogan with a simple “HYBE” wordmark. The new logo had no slogan, no image, just the name.

The backlash was immediate, with much of the criticism aiming directly at Min Hee Jin. The former ADOR CEO previously claimed she was the one who came up with it during her legal battles with HYBE.

Fans questioned whether the change was a deliberate move to erase her contributions following their very public fallout.

Don’t tell me they’re changing the slogan because [Min Hee Jin] made it?

Is this serious, did Hybe delete the slogan? Lol, must be because their ego got touched since they’re still using the slogan made by MHJ.

Many immediately mocked the slogan’s meaning, pointing out that it no longer represented the company anyway. According to them, HYBE’s recent music output hasn’t exactly screamed passion for the craft.

On the other hand, netizens also called the new “logo” lazy. Dropping a slogan that carried real weight in the industry and replacing it with nothing felt low effort to a lot of people.

They’re really lazy. If you’re going to replace it, you should at least come up with a new slogan. Instead they just slapped ‘HYBE’ on there and called it a day.

Whether it’s about erasing Min Hee Jin, a quiet rebrand, or something else entirely, HYBE’s unexpected change has only sparked further mockery and criticism from fans, with little to no praise.
