HYBE And YG Entertainment Respond To Dating Rumors Surrounding BTS’s V And BLACKPINK’s Jennie
HYBE and YG Entertainment have responded to videos and photos from Paris that recently sparked more dating rumors between BTS‘s V and BLACKPINK‘s Jennie.
On May 17 (local time), videos were shared of the two supposedly on a date together in France’s capital Paris. While Jennie is in France for the upcoming Cannes Film Festival, V was in the country for schedules with designer brand CELINE.
In a video shared by a Paris-based photographer, Amar Taoualit, the two stars can allegedly be seen holding hands while walking along the streets of Paris with their managers behind them

Netizens also pointed out that the two idols were sighted in the same outfits as the figures in the videos earlier that same day.

At first, both companies seemingly ignored the rumors and didn’t address them. On May 18 (KST), HYBE and YG Entertainment seemingly addressed the situation after a reporter tried contacting them for more information.
The article revealed that although the companies did not release an official statement, they responded to the allegations vaguely.
Regarding this, HYBE and YG Entertainment stated on the 18th that “We do not know due to it being regarding the artists’ private lives” and has not released an official statement.

Considering YG Entertainment’s past comments on issues surrounding dating, it wasn’t surprising that the statement was vague. HYBE has been equally as vague surrounding the rumors.
