HyunA Seemingly Addresses Recent Pregnancy Rumors
Recently, HyunA returned with “Mrs. Nail,” following a several-month hiatus. The return was met with some criticism from netizens, both over her controversial marriage and the track itself.
Following one of her promotional stages on a music show, netizens were surprised by HyunA’s change in visuals. In particular, many that left comments questioned if the idol was pregnant.
It seems that HyunA has indirectly addressed these comments in new content.
The idol appeared on Lee Yong Jin’s YouTube program, where the two stars chatted about different topics as he read her fortune using tarot cards.
Near the beginning of the episode, Lee Yong Jin mentions that it had been a while since they had seen each other and that there was something different about HyunA. The idol shares that she has gained weight, first attributing it to her happiness.
She then shares that she was actually told to gain weight due to a health issue, but is actively dieting because she feels “heavier” when dancing.
With many of the pregnancy comments occurring in response to HyunA’s weight gain, her admission of gaining weight for health issues seems to clear the air.
