HyunA “Unrecognizable” During Recent Performance, Hit With Criticism Over Her Visuals
On April 30, HyunA made her first comeback since marrying Yong Junhyung with “Mrs. Nail.”
The track carried the same unique flavor that many of her tracks have, but many felt she had “fallen off” due to her controversial marriage. The release itself was also met with scathing criticism as well.
Like most comebacks, HyunA has attended weekly music show performances to promote her new song.
On May 11, the idol attended Inkigayo after cancelling a previous music show performance.
Afterwards, the fancam version of her performance was uploaded to social media, where netizens chimed in their thoughts. Rather than comment on the track, many expressed surprise over HyunA’s visuals, claiming to have not recognized her.

Others were more critical, accusing her of having gotten a Brazilian Butt Lift (BBL) or wearing hip pads. Some also talked about her visuals in general, questioning if something had “happened” to her.
Of course, some came to her defense, saying that she had simply gained weight, and that the make-up and styling impacted how she looked.
