This is exactly what happened to INFINITE‘s Sungyeol after an interaction with a fan.
Recently, a fan attended a fan sign event for INFINITE, and when speaking with Sungyeol, their experience gained attention. Sungyeol seemingly remembered seeing OP smoking during the tour and he asked her to quit, encouraging the fan.

The post quickly went viral on Threads, but the fans’ response was hilarious as they “exposed” not only Sungyeol but also the rest of INFINITE by sharing the members’ past with smoking. The fans alluded to the fact that Sungyeol had smoked in the past and encouraged him to stop the other members, who they allegedly assumed still smoked.
