Idol Group’s Accounts Deleted Without Notice, Sparking Fear Of Disbandment

This was a second chance group for several.

In 2024, SM Entertainment and ChosunTV‘s reality program Falling for a Trot-dol: Lovestruck Noonas showed the selection process for a new idol group.

The show showed the formation of MYTRO, who were said to be a trot idol group. MR.MR member and Mr. Trot 2 contestant Tey, actor Seo WoohyeokSMROOKIES‘ Shohei, actor Jung Yoonjae, and former Mr. Trot 2 contestant Im Chaepyoung were all announced as members of the group.

Many were excited for the group as all members were adults, and it was the long-awaited return of Shohei, who had disappeared after an injury. MYTRO were initially scheduled to make their debut in the first quarter of 2025, and even appeared at SM Entertainment’s SMTOWN family concerts.

However, the debut did not occur, leaving fans waiting to hear from the group. On May 9, fans were shocked to discover MYTRO’s official accounts had been deleted from Instagram and X (formerly Twitter).

The group is no longer listed on the artist list of Yamyam Entertainment, the company responsible for their management.
