This Idol Is The Next Big Producer-Idol, According To Insiders
Many K-Pop idols have been honing their song composition skills, and their evolution has made a new category of artist called the “producer-idol“.
BIGBANG‘s G-Dragon, Block B‘s Zico, and iKON‘s B.I are just a few names that come to mind.
Industry insiders believe that Pentagon‘s Hui is going to be the next big “producer-idol,” even comparing him to G-Dragon!
You may recognize some of Hui’s work. He composed Produce 101 Season 2‘s “Never”, which reached #1 on various music charts with its release.
Hui also worked on WANNA ONE‘s debut track, “Energetic.” The song took home the #1 trophy 14 times on various music shows.
He has composed many of Pentagon‘s singles.
Hui has composed “Runaway,” “Young,” “Organic Song,” “You Are,” “Thank You,” and “Like This,” just to name a few.
Hui also composed “Sunflower” for Cube Entertainment‘s project group Triple H, which he was a part of.
Kriesha Chu‘s track “Like Paradise” was also composed by Hui!
With so many hits under his belt, it’s no wonder he is being compared to GD!
