Idol-Turned-Actress Addresses “Inappropriate” Airport Behavior After Facing Massive Backlash

An idol-turned-actress clarified the incident at the airport that sparked a controversy over alleged inappropriate behavior.

On the 13th, a video titled “I Went Back 13 Years Ago” was released on the MINI DOHEE YouTube channel.

Previously, Min Dohee had shared photos from a trip with her mother last September. The issue arose because she placed her sneaker-clad foot on an airport chair.

When the controversy erupted, Min Dohee deleted the photo and said, “I humbly accept your criticism and deeply reflect on it. From now on, I will be more careful even with small actions and strive to repay your trust. I sincerely apologize.”

In the video, the production team also addressed the incident. When asked, “There was a bit of an issue recently, right?” Min Dohee apologized again, saying, “I’m sorry.”

She explained, “This might sound like an excuse, but I’m short and have short legs, so my feet usually don’t comfortably reach the chair. That’s why I cross my legs like my dad or put my feet up.”

She added, “After that incident, it became a clear turning point for me to change,” showing how she now keeps her feet properly on the ground.

Min Dohee debuted in 2012 as a member of the group Tiny-G before transitioning to acting. She gained much love after appearing in tvN’s Reply 1994 in 2013.
