“After All The Hatred…” iKON’s Bobby Gains Attention For Sharing His Honest Feelings Looking Back At B.I’s Departure From The Group
iKON‘s Bobby has become a hot topic online after gaining attention for his honesty in recent Instagram comments about the group’s former member B.I.
When iKON first debuted in 2015, they were a seven-member band, but then-leader B.I left the group in 2019 after his involvement in a drug scandal was revealed.
Recently, Bobby gained attention after speaking honestly about what happened surrounding B.I’s departure from the group, looking at both the past and present.
On September 11 (KST), Bobby shared a new post on Instagram.
He also left a comment that had netizens believing he was talking about his former member. Bobby’s words seemed very meaningful as the idol seemingly spilled his emotions into the comment.
I feel u honestly cuz he is my bro. he did show and did some bad infulence to our next gen but cant stop my love for him tho. u kno he knos what he did was wrong and everything but lets not make this whole game commercial and shxt tho. I love him as much as u love him. lets not forget he a good dude. lets give him a chance to make it up to you. forgiveness is most noble thing that humanbeing can do.

Considering the raw emotion from Bobby, it wasn’t surprising that many speculated that it was about former member B.I, which the iKON singer himself later confirmed by referring to the impact on the members once he left.
In another comment, Bobby directly spoke about B.I left the group, adding that he did feel “hatred” for him after he left. Yet, the idol emphasized that looking back, he knew it was a decision not to burden the other members and that he forgives him.
I mean, he did abandon iKON or me and Chanwoo, DK, Song, Jay, and June. But after all the hatred that I felt for him, he had made the decision because he didn’t want to be a burden for iKON. I decided to forgive him and show my love for my brother again. I don’t know if we can collab ever again, but I love him still.

Bobby is always aware of the comments. Shortly after the posts, he must’ve seen the reactions and shared one last post, adding that it wasn’t the case of OT6 or OT7 or even anything political, but he just wanted to let his feelings be known.

After Bobby shared the messages, netizens came in support of the idol for his honesty surrounding what happened. While the idol acknowledged that he was hurt, Bobby’s comments showed that he had “forgiven” B.I.

Bobby only said he felt abandoned by Hanbin (as their leader & friend) but he realized that was Hanbin's way of protecting iKON.
So when iKONICs complained about Hanbin or IDs, Bobby defended him.
