ADOR’s CEO Min Hee Jin and HYBE are currently engaged in a feud. On April 25, 2024, Min Hee Jin held a press conference to discuss the allegations made against her.

In the midst of it all, ILLIT’s creative director, Heo Se Ryun, posted a cryptic photo on her Instagram story. It was of a middle finger, wrapped prettily in ribbons and pink.

While the aesthetic was very much balletcore and girlycore, just like her concept for ILLIT, it also seemed to contain a hidden message. A middle finger is a globally recognized sign to represent a curse word, “f*ck.”

Netizens have turned to criticizing her for her actions.

  • But if the main party involved, NewJeans’ choreography, got angry about it, then it can’t be considered an homage. Homage means to pay respect, so why would be be angry if it was one?
  • Must she really jump into the mess?
  • But are there copyrights to choreography?
  • Must she…? She’s just trying to get on someone’s nerves.
  • Well, what does she want? LOL.

Previously, Min Hee Jin accused Belift Lab and HYBE of copying NewJeans for ILLIT’s debut. More on the case can be read about below.
