BELIFT LAB, the agency of ILLIT, has filed a lawsuit seeking damages of ₩100 million KRW (about $67,800 USD) against the NewJeans (NJZ) fandom group “Team Bunnies”.
According to the law industry on the 15th, BELIFT LAB, a label under HYBE, filed a lawsuit on the 11th at the Seoul Western District Court against A, the operator of Team Bunnies, known to be a minor, and their parents, seeking ₩100 million KRW (about $67,800 USD) in damages.
BELIFT LAB claims that Team Bunnies posted online content alleging that ILLIT plagiarized NewJeans, damaging the reputations of both ILLIT and BELIFT LAB and causing business losses.
