Injuries And Illness: BLINKs Express Concern For The BLACKPINK Members’ Health Amid Ongoing World Tour

The members have been on tour since October 2022.

From making their long-awaited comeback after nearly two years in August 2022 to hitting the road for their BORN PINK world tour in October, with numerous individual schedules in between, there has been no sign of slowing down for BLACKPINK.

With 13 shows remaining on their 62-show BORN PINK tour, BLINKs are expressing concern for the members’ health.

BLACKPINK currently has two shows left on the Asia leg of their tour and just completed two nights of encore shows in Thailand’s largest stadium.

During their Thailand encore concerts, fans noticed that BLACKPINK’s Jennie had her shoulder wrapped, indicating that she might be injured, though she continued with her performance and schedules without letting on that she may be in pain.

Her team confirmed that she was injured during her appearance at Chanel‘s Métiers D Art in Tokyo on June 1, when photographers requested that she wave for photos, and Jennie announced that she wasn’t able to wave.

When the media asked why, a staff member, identified as Jennie’s manager Alison, informed the press that she was unfortunately injured.

Eagle-eyed BLINKs also noticed that, in recent concerts, Lisa appeared to be tending to a neck injury that she’s had since late last year.

YG Entertainment most recently announced that member Jisoo tested positive for COVID-19 and would not be participating in the group’s June 3 and 4 shows in Osaka for her health and the safety of her fellow members and staff.

With two group members nursing injuries, Jisoo sick, constant schedules for all four members, and new shows being added to their tour, BLINKs are calling on YG Entertainment to let the members rest and recover.

BLACKPINK will perform as three members during their upcoming concerts in Osaka before heading to Australia for shows on June 10, 11, 16, and 17.
