IU And Crush Shock Each Other With Anecdotes About BTS’s J-Hope, Revealing The Idol’s True Personality
When it comes to idols, many netizens like to believe that they’re stuck up or have “celebrity syndrome.” In reality, it couldn’t be further from the truth. One idol whose true personality has been shared by not one but two other artists is BTS‘s “Happy Virus” J-Hope.
Recently. J-Hope joined fellow artist Crush on his latest song, “Rush Hour.” Of course, both completely shined and captured the hearts of netizens through the song and music video.
To celebrate the song’s release, Crush visited someone who is also very aware of J-Hope, and it’s none other than IU.
After releasing his solo album Jack In The Box, J-Hope joined IU on her YouTube series IU Palette and captured the hearts of viewers with his adorable personality.
Crush was the latest guest on the show and he sat down with IU and chatted about everything from his latest tracks, time in the military, and much more.
During the video, when speaking about his latest album, IU pointed out that Crush had a track with J-Hope.
IU then shared just how amazing J-Hope’s personality is.
The idol revealed that, after the BTS member realized that Crush was going to be a guest on her show, J-Hope sent all the staff some gifts. Crush then revealed that he also received some flowers and a chocolate cake from J-Hope.
Yet, it didn’t stop there. It seems like neither IU nor Crush had enough kind words to say about J-Hope. Crush revealed that whenever he meets J-Hope, the BTS rapper always surprises him in different ways.
In particular, he shared a story about J-Hope showcasing just how caring he is for those he works with.
Was it 1:50AM? I got a message on Kakaotalk. I was asleep. I got a message from him. He was up till then. Since he participated in my album, he was studying about me. He watched my performances. He watched all of my YouTube contents and he watched all of it to work with me.

Crush then joked that after everything J-Hope did, including getting snacks for all the staff, was he a bad person for just turning up to the show?
IU then explained that it must be because J-Hope really appreciates Crush as a person.
Of course, being the humble artist he is, Crush not only thanked J-Hope again for everything but also ARMYs (and IU’s fans) for all their support.
When the video was released, netizens couldn’t get over just how thoughtful J-Hope was with Crush. Despite his busy schedule, he always seems to go above and beyond for those he works with and takes time out to put in 110%.
